Global Health Crisis
Hello Everyone,
As everyone is becoming more and more aware there is a major health crisis unfolding around the world at the current time. This afternoon the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 coronavirus a global pandemic, which means that this deadly virus is on every continent and is continuing to spread in communities throughout the world at a high rate of speed.
The increasing death toll throughout Europe and the world, as well as the mass quarantine in Italy, combined with recommendations from the Directors of Center of Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO)—the responsible action at this time is to cancel all scheduled events for Ireland and Switzerland this spring. More importantly, and what is trusted emphatically, for the very first time in over ten years of extensive international travel the inner guidance and subsequent dharma is to stop all planned activity and simply be still and quiet.
Around the world, events are being canceled in an effort to stop this spread of this deadly virus. It is heartbreaking that our scheduled events for Dublin Ireland and Lausanne Switzerland have been canceled, but after carefully assessing the situation it was clear that this was the best course of action.
We are closely monitoring this global situation, which is changing daily. Right now we are still planning on going forward with events scheduled in July in the Netherlands, and our regular satsangs held in Europe in September, October, and November. However, this is a very fluid situation and naturally our event schedule subject to change depending on how this situation evolves.
This is a time to remain calm, present and follow recommended practices of the Center of Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and your local health officials to protect yourself, your family and friends.
